Recipes: different sandwiches for school - Often children are bored of lunch to send them. We know there is a time when more ideas of what you can send them in the lunchbox will not occur, besides the typical ham and cheese sandwich or peanut butter, and jam nutela.
Here we give two variations of easy, nutritious sandwiches and you can give your children for school lunch without worrying that seem boring sandwiches or worse still, with no taste (what a horror!). So, let's eat rich has been said!
Turkey sandwich with avocado and bacon (makes 4 people)
Ingredients:
- 8 slices whole wheat bread
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 8 strips of bacon
- ½ lb. turkey ham
- 1 ripe, peeled and seeded avocado
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Salt and pepper
Preparation:
Start by cooking the bacon strips in a lunchbox over medium heat until golden brown and crisp (5-7 minutes each side) and then transfer to a plate covered with paper towels to absorb the fat dish. Bota all the fat remaining in the pan, and uses it to heat turkey ham there.
Besides, in a small bowl, mash avocado and lemon, condimentándolos with salt and pepper.
Spread each slice of toast with a little avocado mixture. Begins to put layers of turkey, bacon, tomato and ends with another piece of bread.
Cut the sandwich into two parts (four, if your child is young) so that it becomes easier to eat.
Strawberry sandwich with cream cheese (makes 1 person)
Ingredients:
- 2 thin slices of wheat bread or whole wheat
- 1 tbsp. cream cheese low fat (commonly called Neufchâtel)
- ¼ tsp. of honey
- 1/8 tsp. grated orange peel
- 3 sliced strawberries
Preparation:
In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, orange zest and honey. Spread this mixture on the bread slices and cover everything with strawberries. Then add another slice of bread sandwich and presto!
Note: Another quick variation is using peanut butter with fruits like bananas (bananas), apples, pears, etc.
