Puree fresh fruit

Ingredients:
  • 1 ripe pear and red apple (or a combination of both fruits)
  • 1 tablespoon water (boiled), breast milk or milk formula
Preparation:

Peel the fruit. Remove seeds. Then cut into slices and place in a small pot with water or milk (either breast or formula). Cover and leave on medium heat for 10 minutes until soft. Put everything in the blender or blender and puree fruit. Spoon place in a bowl and let cool. It can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours or frozen using a mold ice cubes. Once the fruit puree is frozen, removed from the mold and the cubes are stored in a tightly sealed plastic bag.

You can also freeze the excess in plastic containers with lids. It is important to make sure not to use them after two months. And remember that the baby food does not need sugar. The fruit is sweet in itself.

Tip: Place a sticker with the date and description in the bag to not forget what it is.
