A box decorated with Christmas motifs and full of homemade cookies could be a cute gift for neighbors, friends and family. And much better if your kids can help and make it a family activity.
This easy recipe for Christmas cookies sugared is known in Greece and Mexico and yields approximately 30. Your children can help you add and mix ingredients, cover sugar and decorate the boxes in which they will deliver.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup cake flour (or ¾ cup all-purpose flour plus 2 tablespoons cornstarch or cornstarch)
- 1 cup finely chopped nuts or chopped
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup butter at room temperature
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar or powdered
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation:
In a bowl or medium bowl, mix flour, nuts and salt. Set it aside.
With a wooden spoon, beat the butter and 1/3 cup of the confectioners' sugar until it is ready. Add vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture, beating just until the dough from sticking. Chill for 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350 ° F and grease 2 bowl or medium bowl. Shape dough into balls of an inch in diameter and place them separated by a space and a half inch baking sheets. Bake until firm and lightly browned, 10 to 12 minutes.
Spread about half the powdered sugar in a bowl or medium bowl. Gently placed 4 to 6 warm cookies on the plate with sugar and sprinkle with a little powdered sugar remaining. Transfer cookies to racks to cool completely leave. Repeat with the remaining cookies.
You can save the cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 weeks.
