Humus is a recipe made from chickpeas and its texture is like a terrine, is perfect to eat with pita bread or carrot or cucumber crudités for example. In addition it will bring you more of a hurry if you have guests at home and want to get something original and quick peck.

It is a very famous dish among vegans, and Arab countries.


 Ingredients:
  • 400 G of chickpeas (can be pot).
  • 3 Tablespoons tahini sauce.
  • 2 Garlic cloves.
  • The Juice of a lemon.
  • 2 Tablespoons of EVOO (extra virgin olive oil).
  • Half a teaspoon of salt.
  • Peppers.
Method of preparation:

We soak the beans overnight.

Boil the beans for 1 hour, drain them reserving a little of the cooking water.

Grind the beans with half a cup of the cooking water until well blended, I used the blender.

Peel and crush the garlic and add along with juice, salt and tahini sauce our chickpea paste and mix well until blended.

Before serving, add olive oil and paprika to taste.

A perfect and very easy dish !!
